Napoleon’s Battles is a set of grand tactical miniatures rules intended to permit players to simulate large battles fought between the years of 1792-1815 in Europe . Players serve as corps, wing, or army commanders. All of the major combatants of the era are included, as well as the armies of many minor states as well, and more than 2,500 generals of the period are rated for their abilities.
Designers Craig Taylor and Bob Coggins have revised the original Napoleon’s Battles , which was published by the Avalon Hill Game Company in 1989, and it is now available from our company website Five Forks, Inc., our Store on this website, and at selected game stores in the U.S. and Europe. In addition to being revised, the rules have been completely repackaged, and the new rules now include many full-color maps and sketches, as well as reproductions of eight prints by world-renowned military artist Keith Rocco.
When the stage is set then you’ll really see the dancing begin – the pole battles need a suitable stage to perform on! And so do Napoleons battles!
Playing peekaboo poles is something that every battle hardened general is aware of – and in Napoleons battles this is still very true
The question is did Napoleon have an x-pole?
